Terms of Use

Last updated: October 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of the tools, guides and API on ipadresimne.net (the “site”). By using the site you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. The Service

The site offers free network tools (IP address display, IP and domain lookup, DNS and WHOIS lookup, a port checker, an IPv6 test, a WebRTC leak test, a speed test and a subnet calculator), related guides and a JSON API. No account or registration is required. The content, scope and availability of the service may be changed, limited or discontinued without notice.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use the site for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Use the tools to gain unauthorized access to other people's systems, to prepare an attack, or to harass or track individuals.
  • Try to exceed or get around the rate limits, overload the site with automated requests or interfere with its operation.
  • Try to bypass the site's security measures or exploit vulnerabilities without permission. If you find a security issue, please report it to [email protected].
  • Copy the site's content in bulk and republish it elsewhere as your own.

The port checker only tests the public IP address of your own connection; it can't be used to scan any other address. If we detect use that breaks these terms, access from the IP address involved may be limited or blocked.

3. API Use

The IP API is free and needs no key; lookups are limited to 30 requests per minute per IP address. The API is provided “as is” for personal projects and low-volume use, with no commitment to uptime or response times. If you plan high-volume or commercial use, contact us first. When you use the location data, complying with DB-IP's attribution requirement (“IP Geolocation by DB-IP”) is your responsibility.

4. Accuracy of Information

The location, internet provider, ASN, VPN/proxy detection, DNS, WHOIS and speed test results shown on the site rely on third-party data sources and live measurements; they may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. IP-based location is approximate: it is usually right at city level, but it never identifies a street address, a home or a person. Results are for information only; don't base legal, forensic, commercial or security decisions on them alone.

The guides provide general information. You are responsible for any changes you make to your router and network settings; if in doubt, ask your device manufacturer or internet provider.

5. Limitation of Liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no express or implied warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and the site operator is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in this section affects consumer rights that cannot be limited by contract.

6. Intellectual Property

The site's design, software, logo, guides and other original text belong to the site operator and may not be reproduced without permission. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. Third-party data is subject to its own licenses: location and ASN data is provided by DB-IP (CC BY 4.0) and map data by OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).

7. Third-Party Links and Advertising

The site may contain links to third-party websites and ads served through Google AdSense. Those third parties are responsible for the content, accuracy and privacy practices of their sites and of the advertised products or services; an ad appearing on the site doesn't mean we endorse what it advertises. For ad cookies and your choices, see the Privacy Policy.

8. Personal Data

The personal data processed when you use the site, how long it is kept and your rights are described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and Governing Law

These terms may be updated when needed; the current version is always published on this page and applies from the date it is published. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers' statutory rights and their right to apply to the competent authorities are reserved.

10. Contact

Send questions about these terms to [email protected]. Imprint details are on the About & Contact page.
